Daniel Suárez and Freeway Insurance have been partners for more than 6 years. Daniel is a seasoned force on the track, embarking on his first season with Spire Motorsports and his tenth full-time campaign in the NASCAR Cup Series. With over 300 Cup Series starts under his belt, the 34-year-old veteran has skillfully notched two career wins—a breakthrough victory at Sonoma Raceway in 2022 and a hard-fought triumph at Atlanta Motor Speedway in 2024—along with 76 impressive top-10 finishes.
Hailing from Monterrey, Mexico, Daniel’s journey in racing began in the NASCAR Mexico Series, steadily climbing through the ranks. He made history in 2016, capturing the NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship and becoming the first Mexican-born driver to win a title in a NASCAR national series. His Xfinity pedigree also includes an emotional victory at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez during the Cup Series’ inaugural visit to Mexico City in 2025. When he’s not behind the wheel, Daniel maintains a rigorous fitness regimen, enjoys cycling, and indulges his passion for restoring classic cars at his home in Huntersville, N.C.
