Daniel Suárez enters his first season with Spire Motorsports and his tenth full-time campaign in the NASCAR Cup Series. The 34-year-old veteran has more than 300 Cup Series starts to his credit, earning two wins and 76 top-10 finishes. Suárez’s Cup Series triumphs include his breakthrough victory at Sonoma Raceway in 2022 and a hard-fought win at Atlanta Motor Speedway in 2024.
A native of Monterrey, Mexico, Suárez launched his racing career in the NASCAR Mexico Series before advancing to the NASCAR ARCA Menards Series East and ultimately made his O’Reilly Auto Parts Series debut with Joe Gibbs Racing in 2014. In 2016, he captured the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Championship becoming the first Mexican-born driver to a title in a NASCAR national series. His O’Reilly Auto Parts résumé also includes an emotional victory at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in the Cup Series first visit to Mexico City in 2025.
Away from the racetrack, Suárez maintains a rigorous fitness regimen, enjoys cycling, and dedicates time to restoring classic cars near his home in Huntersville, N.C.
