A survival\u00a0kit is\u00a0a package or group of necessities used in situations when other items are not easily accessible. In other words, a kit of tools that can save you a lot of time and money. Putting a survival kit in the trunk of\u00a0your car will hopefully make your busy life more manageable.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a list of items for your survival kit:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Glass bottle with water. Do not use plastic, as it compromises the water when heated<\/li>\n<li>First Aid Kit. Also include various OTC medications (e.g. allergy, indigestion, pain-relievers, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Feminine Items for women (e.g. hygienic, stockings, small cosmetic kit, bobby pins)<\/li>\n<li>General Hygiene Kit (e.g. toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>A set of business clothes with shoes<\/li>\n<li>A set of casual clothes with shoes<\/li>\n<li>Stationary or Cards (e.g. Happy Birthday, Thank You, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Envelope and postage stamps<\/li>\n<li>Safety Pins<\/li>\n<li>Flashlight<\/li>\n<li>Packaged Snacks (e.g. nuts, protein bars, powered mix, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Thin Blanket<\/li>\n<li>Gift cards (Note: Keep only a few at a time)<\/li>\n<li>Baby Wipes to clean hands or dirty shoes<\/li>\n<li>An extra USB thumb drive<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Though this list may seem a bit much, a busy person will appreciate all the preparation, especially when the items come in handy.
