The Freeway TOLLGUARD Billing System is a scalable, modular, feature-rich customer care and customer self-care product for small to medium sized VoIP Telcos or ITSPs. Whether your customers have traffic for termination or you are providing origination services, the TOLLGUARD Billing System easily integrates with your network allowing a fast and efficient launch of VoIP services to a varied range of customers. The easy to use tools available through the GUI interface enables Customer Care, Dealers and Agents to perform provisioning, rating, and billing for their respective customers.

IP / SIP / H.323 / ANI Based Traffic
For termination and origination traffic, whether it is IP, H323, SIP, TDM or ANI based, our real-time billing and rating supports bothprepaid and postpaid scenarios. The rate plan tools allow you to develop multiple rating schemes for international based calls as well as LERG based US or in country rate plans; with extremely flexible ways of charging for service. The system tracks clients and users current prepaid or postpaid credit balances meeting the varied requirements of a wide range different types of traffic.

Radius Interface
The Billing System can utilize the power of RADIUS based systems such as Cisco®, Quintum® for a fully featured AAA (authorization, authentication, and accounting) solution. Currently supporting millions of minutes a month on existing real world deployments, the Billing System is a proven and stable VoIP and TDM solution for next gen ITSPs.

Scalable Architecture
Built on a highly scalable UNIX based architecture, the modular nature of the system allows you the capability to expand and customize the different components used. As you grow, you can balance load different components by separating them among redundant and integrated machines. The database system is a highly reliable (Oracle® or PostgreSQL) RDBMS and easily tailored to accommodate specific requirements.

Customer Interface
The web-based customer interface provides the tools for a self-care management system that allows the ITSP the capability to manage a large subscriber base and wide range of different customers such as Dealers, Agents and End-users. The TOLLGUARD client provisioning system allows the ITSP to configure unlimited tiers of service providers and end-clients. This allows your larger clients or agents to manage their own customers, provision network resources, and pull reports for these sub-clients independently. With this capability comes the efficiency to manage customers on a hierarchical level for maximum profitability and minimum in-house staff expense
