Cloverleaf Switching Platform

CLOVERLEAF VoIP Softswitch
SIP / H.323 / TDM

The CLOVERLEAF Softswitch is the engine for a small or large VoIP Telephone Company solution. Based on your current size or anticipated growth the CLOVERLEAF Switch starts at 100 Ports upgradeable to 300 / 600 Ports or start at 1,000 Ports upgradeable to 2,000 Ports. Our technology provides you with advanced user friendly features and trouble free operation. For more robust and trouble free performance the operating system is Linux.

Key Features and Benefits:

Least Cost Routing
The LCR application allows the customer to define the preferred routing based on price, carrier quality or available routes. These criteria can be combined or used in conjunction to stream line the efficient processing and delivery of traffic to the destination L.E.C. and or long haul underlying Carriers.

Call Rating
The Call Rating Application allows the customer to build or import a custom rate table which can be cloned and modified to include a percentage mark-up, a base rate, a surcharge, free time, minimum call time, minimum and max call duration and subsequent time period length. Separate rate tables can be applied to each customer. Rate table editing can be performed on the fly down to individual country and city codes.

Billing System / Reports
The Billing application allows the customer to apply custom rate table charges automatically to the traffic on a per customer and per call basis. The CLOVERLEAF Billing application will track and isolate charges separately by agent, distributor, dealer and for end user. The System maintains a real- time data base of Call Detail Records. The Billing application allows for pulling reports based on Customer Name, IP address, ANI and Inbound vs. Outbound traffic. These reports are generated by range of dates and based on cost or selling price.

Call Authorization
The CLOVERLEAF switch will perform a Gatekeeper function interacting with the customer Pre-Paid Balance or Credit Balance. Authentication by the client for H.323 is done by IP, or Mac address. If the customer reaches their Prepaid or Credit limit, traffic will be denied until replenished. For SIP customers the switch will interact with the SIP Proxy to authenticate, authorize and log the call.

Customer Interface
Your Agents, Distributors, Dealers and End Users can be granted secure access to the CLOVERLEAF platform, via a user friendly HTTP Browser interface. This access allows the users to view their account or in the case of agents and distributors all their down line account information. Data available to be viewed by the customer includes credit balances, gateway or site information, rates, complete Call Detail Records. By empowering your customers to access their information directly this will reduce the work load on your customer service personnel Options: Calling Cards, IVR, Conferencing, Voice Mail

The Cloverleaf Switching Platform combines the leading edge programmable switching
technology with a host of applications to provide the user with a wide range of business options. Cloverleaf supports VoIP switching and routing, Gatekeeper and proxy functions, Tandem Switching, Least Cost Routing, International Callback, and other enhanced services.

Features Overview

Cloverleaf is able to switch different types of media- TDM or Voice over IP using various PSTN and VoIP signaling protocols- CAS, ISDN, SS7, SIP and H.323.
Cloverleaf is modular and scalable. A customer may start with a minimal configuration of media/signaling modules that support its initial requirements. Then modules may be added as the needs grow. System reliability can be ensured by the optional redundant components.

The API

The call processing API built into Cloverleaf provides the interface for higher level applications with advanced call processing features including DTMF user input processing, call routing, DNIS translation and ANI processing. It is designed from the ground up to be very similar to the Lucent XL SwitchKit API allowing easy portability of existing SwitchKit legacy applications.
